With more than 20 years of international experience, Sharon has built a career at the intersection of government, business, media and diplomacy. Born and raised in the United Kingdom, she has spent the last 10 years of her career working across the UK, U.S., EMEA and the Global South, advising leaders operating in politically and economically complex markets.
Before founding HONOR, Sharon held senior communications leadership positions at some of the world’s most influential media organisations, including Warner Bros. Discovery, NBCUniversal, Hearst, CNBC International, Newsweek, The New York Times and New Statesman Media Group. At Warner Bros. Discovery, she led strategic communications and market positioning across 105 countries during one of the company’s largest international expansion programmes, contributing to a business that today reaches more than 210 markets and over three billion viewers. Her role involved working closely with senior leadership, navigating complex regulatory environments, engaging government and commercial stakeholders, and supporting strategic growth across diverse international territories.
She later helped global media organisations strengthen their credibility, support global expansion, accelerate digital transformation and footprint.
Over the past decade, Sharon has advised foreign governments on economic diplomacy, reform communications, national positioning and international engagement, supporting complex policy agendas, strengthening economic credibility, attracting investment and enhancing international standing.
Her work has included supporting ministers responsible for a development finance portfolio comprising 36 projects valued at more than US$9 billion, strengthening engagement with international institutions including the World Bank, supporting government missions and helping countries reshape international perceptions, particularly those navigating reputational challenges or advancing ambitious national transformation agendas, including Vision 2030 programmes. She has advised senior government ministers, several of whom now serve in leadership roles within the United Nations.
Her experience also includes supporting high-level government engagement across leading international institutions, global policy forums and think tanks. Leveraging international media, strategic relationships and global policy networks she helps governments strengthen international visibility, engage key stakeholders and build influence on the world stage.
Sharon brings a distinctive understanding of how communications, policy, economics and international affairs intersect. She believes reputation is no longer simply a communications function, it is a strategic asset that shapes investment, diplomacy and long-term national competitiveness.
She founded HONOR in 2019 to help governments, institutions and business leaders navigate a new global influence order, where reputation, trust and strategic positioning increasingly shape power, partnerships and prosperity.
Sharon is currently co-authoring Power & Perception: The Strategic Guide for Narrative Influence in a Fractured World. She was educated at Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School, graduated from the University of the Arts London and completed executive studies in Political Communications at King’s College London.
