Sharon Ezzeldin is a strategic advisor working at the intersection of media intelligence, narrative, and global influence. She advises governments, institutions, and senior leaders on shaping international perception, advancing economic development agendas, and positioning national and corporate narratives within complex global systems.
With over two decades of experience, her work spans the world’s leading media organisations, corporate strategy, and government advisory offering a rare vantage point across the systems that shape reputation, legitimacy, and influence.
She has worked with some of the largest media and content companies in the United States and United Kingdom, including Hearst in New York, NBCUniversal News Group, and Warner Bros. Discovery, where she led international communications and market positioning across emerging markets, supporting global expansion, shaping corporate narratives, and navigating complex, high-growth regions.
At Warner Bros. Discovery (formerly Discovery Communications), she oversaw communications across more than 100 countries in CEEMEA, including the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, and Eastern Europe. Her work spanned channel launches, market repositioning, and entry into politically and culturally complex environments, aligning commercial growth with regulatory, geopolitical, and local market dynamics. She contributed to one of the largest global media expansions, reaching 1.3 billion viewers across more than 220 territories.
She later established Newsweek’s first international communications function outside the United States, repositioning the brand across the UK and EMEA during a period of transformation, new ownership, and renewed global relevance.
Beyond media, she has advised institutions including The New York Times, Sony, and New Statesman Media Group, supporting leadership teams through expansion, digital transformation, and audience growth.
In recent years, her work has focused on government and economic advisory, with a particular emphasis on economic development, reform positioning, and international investment narratives. She has advised the Government of Egypt, working closely with the Ministry of International Cooperation and the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development to position Egypt’s macroeconomic reform programme, economic diplomacy strategy, and global partnerships. This included leading international media strategy around COP27 and developing stakeholder engagement frameworks in collaboration with high level institutions.
She has also advised ministries and economic entities across the Gulf, including the Bahrain Economic Development Board, supporting foreign direct investment positioning, post-COVID recovery narratives, and alignment with global policy priorities such as sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Her work spans fiscal reform communication, trade and investment positioning, and high-level geopolitical messaging, often in coordination with international institutions.
Sharon’s expertise sits at the intersection of media, policy, and economic strategy, helping governments and institutions translate complex reform agendas into clear, credible narratives that drive investor confidence, international alignment, and long-term reputation.
She is the founder of Honor Communications, a London-based advisory designed for a new influence environment, where communications alone is no longer enough. The firm combines intelligence, narrative architecture, and global networks to help leaders anticipate risk, define positioning, and operate effectively across complex international systems.
