Sharon Ezzeldin.

Sharon Ezzeldin has been recognized as a go-to strategist, advisor and senior executive for some of the world’s most respected news and entertainment organisations. Her career has spanned over 20 years as a specialist in strategic communications, reputation management and media strategy. After graduating with honours from (UAL) University of Arts London and the London College of Communication (LCC), she quickly expanded her professional network across many sectors and regions.

Her early career began at the esteemed Hearst Publishing House in New York in 2002, where she set out to focus on global client development for Hearst internationally. She later held a number of other key roles before returning to the U.K. to work for another powerhouse to establish their global footprint across emerging markets, managing all aspects of corporate, commercial and trade communications. Ezzeldin worked on setting up corporate cross-functional teams locally to unleash global communications campaigns for some of the industry’s biggest content players.

Her innovative work in communications led to several key strategic roles, such as working directly with C-level leaders, developing and executing communication strategies, building corporate voice, managing reputation and mitigating crises. Ezzeldin has been a significant contributor to the communications industry, which raised her profile and name in lists such as top 10 PRs to watch, Emerging Markets, PR Week.

Alia Shaikho

Director of GCC

Shaikho has an impressive background in corporate communications, business development, client strategy, creative direction.

Shaikho has an impressive background in corporate communications, business development, client strategy, creative direction, production and media planning. Shaikho has worked both on and off camera at both (OSN) Orbit Showtime Network and Bahrain TV, she has had the privilege of meeting distinguished figures of society and has built up direct relations across the GCC region.

Her background spans working across multifaceted corporate teams leading organisations and has a strong commercial acumen. During her eight-year tenure at OSN this is where both Shaikho and Ezzeldin came together in 2008 to relaunch Discovery Channel in Middle East on the Pay-TV platform OSN, reaching 1.2 million households across 17 countries. Her most recent roles have included working for Mercedes Benz, Bahrain Petroleum Company and Gulf Finance House.

Within Honor, Clowes is dedicated to guiding clients singularly focused on refining their digital and online presence.

His expertise lies in the specialised online reputation management and Reverse SEO, a methodology designed to curtail the impact of unfavorable content on search engine results. With a sterling track record, Clowes has been instrumental in providing invaluable support to individuals, businesses, public figures, and worked on high-profile litigation cases, particularly in mitigating the repercussions of identity and press leaks.

Mirna Sayed

Mirna Sayed believes in turning leaders into creators and creators into leaders; giving audiences a chance to connect with real experiences.

Mirna Sayed believes in turning leaders into creators and creators into leaders; giving audiences a chance to connect with real experiences. She believes that engagement is no longer about opportunities to create interaction, but to shape conversations. Starting off in political science has helped her build a strong foundation of the trends that are spurring the prospects of emerging markets, and how global systems and narratives can influence decision-making and policies.

She holds a master’s degree in political communication from the University of Florida, and works with researchers to study and develop the academic discipline of public interest communication. Professionally, Sayed aims to help leaders navigate the narrative pyramid and create their own unique narrative, working at the intersection of policy advocacy and strategic communications. She holds a wide contact list of journalists and CEOs across different sectors, and has helped build Egypt’s thought leadership through various editorials and creative content.

Harriet Holder

PR and Partnerships Manager

Harriet is an accomplished and ambitious Partnerships and PR manager, with over seven years’ experience working

Harriet is an accomplished and ambitious Partnerships and PR manager, with over seven years’ experience working across the UK’s leading cultural institutions and publications. She has excellent market knowledge and diverse experience with a wide understanding of different media including politics, luxury, entertainment, art and culture.

She has an extensive contact book with key stakeholders across several different remits. Harriet worked as Partnerships Manager at The Spectator and previously held the role of PR and Partnerships manager at the New Statesman. At the New Statesman Media Group, she worked across their portfolio of titles during an exciting period of digital transformation, leveraging the profile of the brand through media partnerships and PR opportunities.

Harriet works with Sharon on varied PR and partnership projects at Honor and currently supports Cultureshock Media working on their development team in the arts and culture sector.

Harriet knows that one bad mistake can lose you a loyal client forever, which is why she puts strong partnerships front and centre and lets our partners become our most ardent supporters. Harriet attempts to take partnerships one step further by putting them at the centre of the company’s PR story. Having grown up in Bahrain, this influenced her decision to study Middle Eastern Studies at Manchester University. She also interned in the PR department of Ogilvy in Beirut prior to her degree and retains an active interest in the region.

Mia de Miquel

Communications Coordinator

Mia completed her Public Relations degree at UAL (University of the Arts London). She has a strong interest in Public Affairs & Corporate Communications and has recently taken a course in ESG factors

Mia completed her Public Relations degree at UAL (University of the Arts London). She has a strong interest in Public Affairs and Corporate Communications and has recently taken a course in ESG factors and risks at Penn University. Her recent dissertation examines the social impact of two of the world’s largest biopharmaceutical companies, looking at the complexities and approaches each global player has undertaken.  She has an interest in the healthcare industry and other business sectors and looking to broaden her experience in the field of strategic communications while working on a diverse high-level client base. Mia is skilled in curating fresh campaign ideas to branding solutions; she is also apt at constructing media relations work and is eager to hone her skills further. Mia thrives in a fast-paced and busy work environment and enjoys the diversity that agency life brings.  Mia aims to partake in a Master’s degree in Culture, Communication, and Globalization while working alongside Sharon and the HONOR team based between London and Spain.

As governments are increasingly modernizing and transforming their communications, she currently works for political leaders looking to create and shape global debates for more ambitious policies. Working as a consultant for various governments, she grew more interested in nation branding and the integral role strategic communications plays in the influence and behavior of a country’s economic growth. She has consulted for the Arab Republic of Egypt, including Egypt’s Ministry of International Cooperation, the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Ezzeldin founded Honor, a niche agency with offices in London, Bahrain, Cairo and Dubai to serve important clients in whose cause she wholeheartedly believes.
